Geologicheskiy and The Yenisey River Delta
I've been avoiding morphologies that show a strong signature of anthropogenic influence... I'm biased, I guess. I'm not really surprised to find that deltas are very attractive to people and their messing around. Fisheries, agriculture and shipping are all reasons that deltas. despite their susceptibility to flooding and shifting channels, are some very valuable ground to us humans. The following are from the Yenisey River Delta, a river I'll admit I had never heard of before finding it in Flash Earth. A little to the south of the delta, on a small tributary is a location labeled "Geologicheskiy." I'm not seeing anything that looks like urbanization, and it has no listed population, so I'm not sure what is actually at this location. Maybe it's just a cool rock. OOOH! I want a closer look!
