Have trimmed the photoset to ~1600 geotagged images. Need to reduce it
much more and emphasize unique photos. Anyone know of a program that
can parse the exif data and allow me to sort on basis of geographic
coordinates, then select groups and cull as needed? Any suggestions
are welcome.

A particularly nice photo showing the early Pleistocene intracanyon
basalts filling paleotopography in Miocene sediments and rhyolite. The
upper level landslides are related to an interlava fluvial sand,
gravel, and mud deposit that is 20 m thick.
Terrifying lava cliff on the Owyhee at Rinehart Creek.
It was such a bitch to get to and get away from this spot. Seriously.
Walked out the basal contact of most of the Rinehart lava plug. Yikes, it was it a pain in the ass. The gray lava near the base has some impressive column action.

hat. Better boots in 07, though.

Note that the basal gravels at the two distinctly different elevations between RKM 70 and 80 do appear to be the same stratum...yikes. They differ by nearly 40 meters. Will be checking them out in a week or so.

Lava on gravel...and on mud...and on sand
Awesome exposure across from Deer Park. Lava has baked mud, sand, and
gravel here. Sediments are adhereing to the base of the flow and one
can see the undersides of rippled sand and cracked mud. Worth the
heart-pounding hike.

Painfully obvious, even from the river. Why had I missed it?
